Elon Musk has poured cold water on the $500 billion investment in Artifical Intelligence celebrated by Donald Trump at the White House.
The wealthy tech mogul seemed to mock the Stargate announcement, which involved receiving funding from the Japanese investment firm Softbank and the intention to construct data centers throughout the United States.
‘They don’t actually have the money,’ Musk posted on X in response to a press release from Open AI announcing the funding.
It’s one of the first signs of a rift between Musk and Trump, who have been virtually inseparable since the president’s election win in November.
