Her mother told the police that her daughter was missing when she woke up at her Columbus home in the morning. Later that night, she was found dead in Russell County, Alabama.

 

 

Jeremy was taken into custody as the primary suspect because the child was found dead in his abandoned home in Alabama. The Sherrif said that the victim died of asphyxiation, and the motive of kidnapping may have been sexual abuse.

They also found out that the suspect and victim’s mother knew each other, but they were not dating each other. However, they have not clarified how they knew each other or their relationship.
