Kyle Rittenhouse Drone Video: What Happened?

The FBI aerial surveillance drone video showed the actions before the teenager shot an unarmed man. The never-before-seen video got played in his homicide trial on Wednesday, and the jury watched it. It shows a unique angle into the final moments before Rittenhouse shot Joseph Rosenbaum in Kenosha, Wisconsin, last August, reports CNN.

Rittenhouse testified in his defense during the trial, where he said he shot the men to protect himself. He revealed that he brought the gun for his protection.

Kenosha Unrest Shooting Timeline Breakdown

On August 25, 2020, amid the disturbance in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Kyle Rittenhouse shot and killed two people and wounded another individual. He used the AR-15 style semiautomatic rifle, and the wounded man was armed with a handgun. 

Rittenhouse was living in Antioch, Illinois, and participated in local police cadet programs. He turned himself in on charges of first-degree intentional homicide on August 26, 2020. Under Wisconsin state law, Kyle will be charged as an adult. He was held in a juvenile facility in Illinois while awaiting extradition, as per ABC Chicago.

The makeup of the jury for the Kyle Rittenhouse trial includes 20 people selected from a group of 150 Wisconsin residents.
