Who Was Alex Klekotka?

Alex Klekotka was a former Kenai River Brown Bears assistant captain.

Before joining the Kenai River Brown Bears, he was a member of the Men’s Ice Hockey Roster.

 

 

Alex was named WHAC Newcomer of the Year in 2020, and in 2021, he led the conference in scoring with 10 assists. He scored five goals and 15 points in just 12 games, giving him one of the league’s highest point per game rates (1.25).

Klekotka had his best game of the season on March 4, when he had a hat trick and three assists in a 10-1 victory over Cleary. In three more games, he had multiple points, including a goal and two assists in AQ’s 4-3 victory.

The official sites have yet to reveal the cause of death for Alex Klekotka. Nonetheless, many people were taken aback by his death.

He died when he was only 23 years old, when he was still quite young. He celebrates his birthday on June 27, 1998.

 

 

Klekotka has been dubbed “one of the most versatile players in ice hockey.” When the news of Alex’s death became public, friends, family, and loved ones were deeply saddened and are currently in mourning.
