Riley Whitelaw Murdered At Colorado Spring Walgreens

Riley Whitelaw, a student at Air Academy High School, was murdered in a Colorado Springs Walgreens.

On Saturday, June 11, an incident occurred at the Walgreens on Centennial Boulevard.

Riley Whitelaw’s body was discovered in the Walgreens break room, with neck injuries and blood all over the floor. Whitelaw’s body was found by the store manager.

According to investigators, the manager checked security video and saw an employee, Joshua Johnson, stack bins in front of the surveillance camera, blocking the view.

Johnson was identified as a suspect in the case after further inquiry, and he was reportedly arrested by state troopers 100 miles outside of the city on a charge of first-degree murder.

Riley allegedly requested a change schedule to avoid working beside Johnson since he had shown signs of jealousy when Riley’s boyfriend began working at the same Walgreens.

Johnson allegedly made moves toward Whitelaw, making her feel uncomfortable, according to Whitelaw’s complaint to store supervisors.

Johnson was apprehended, taken back to Colorado Springs, and imprisoned without bond into the El Paso County Jail.

Where is Crystal Ishmael Now?

The store manager, Crystal Ishmael, has made a statement concerning Joshua Johnson, the man who murdered Riley Whitelaw.

Johnson admitted to having a crush on Whitelaw at one point but stated he no longer had feelings for her because he had been “intimate” with Ishmael while the police inquiry was underway.

However, Crystal hasn’t made any statement about their relationship previously when she was asked about Johnson.

According to papers, Johnson admitted to being in the breakroom and “said he fell in the blood.”

He further said that while he was leaving the business, he spoke with Crystal Ishmael beside the garbage before returning home and “removing all his clothing because they were all bloodied.”
