Who was Josh Bartlett ?
In an argument with a person entrenched in Levelland, Texas, an officer was killed and three others were injured, police said Thursday.
“The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office is in mourning for one of our own, SWAT Commander Sergeant Josh Bartlett tonight,” a statement read.
The department’s SWAT team responded to the 1100 block of 10th Street in Levelland after reports of an entrenched person and shooting were reported, police said.

Shots were exchanged shortly after arrival and Sergeant Bartlett was shot and killed. Sergeant Bartlett was taken to Covenant Medical Center in Levelland with life-threatening injuries to him, where he was later pronounced dead, ”the statement read.
Three other officers were injured in the incident.
The situation continues, according to Kasie Davis, a spokeswoman for the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office. There are several police officers on the scene.
“We appreciate the public’s support during this difficult time and ask that you continue to pray for his family, both blood and blood,” said the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office.
