The couple revealed that they do not want to know who the biological father is.
Robert and Dustin both donated sperms to the egg donor, but it is unknown whose sperm actually fertilized the egg, i.e. who the biological father is.
The couple is wonderful with the mystery about who the father is.
Tom told The Telegraph their relatives often claim Robert looks like them both. He also added, ‘But one thing we’re very strongly leaning towards is that we don’t want to know. He’s ours.‘

The name of Robert’s biological mother is yet to be revealed.
Baby Robbie was born through surrogacy. Dustin has talked about everything on his BBC Radio 5 Live Podcast, ‘Surrogacy: A Family Frontier’. The two are in constant contact with the surrogate mother.
They also revealed that they plan on taking Robert to meet his biological mother soon. The couple used gestational surrogacy to have baby Robert.
Dustin revealed that Robbie has the choice to meet both the woman involved in his birth.

Robert Ray Black-Daley’s birthday falls on June 27 every year.
At around 15:00, they received a call from the surrogate with the message, “Boys, get to the hospital!” The couple rushed to the hospital. Dustin was responsible for cutting the cord, and Daley made the first skin-to-skin contact with the baby.
