Lisa Desjardins is a Correspondent at PBS News Hour. She also works as a political reporter. Before joining PBS News Hour as a journalist, she worked for the Associated Press and CNN Radio. She has covered five presidential elections in the United States as of 2018.
Desjardins earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, between 1990 and 1994. She then went to Russia for two years to study at Herzen University in Saint Petersburg, where she also learned to speak Russian.
Similarly, she attended Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism in 1996 and graduated with a Master of Science in journalism.
Lisa’s first journalism job was not a success. She worked at a local television WBTW in Myrtle Beach, South Caroline, and got fired from the same job. Later, she started working for The Sun, and that is how her career started blossoming.

Lisa Desjardins is not ill. In fact, there are no updates about her illness.
Lisa and her family members have not confirmed the news about her being sick.
She was, however, laid off from CNN a few years back due to a D.C. digital restructure. In fact, she became a media darling when she uploaded a video of her last day at the news organization on YouTube.

Who Is Lisa Desjardins Husband?
Lisa Desjardins is married to her husband, Jason Desjardins. They tied the knot in 2007 and have lived happily since then.
Jason and Lisa have a son together and currently live in Alexandria, Virginia.

Talking about Lisa’s family, her father was a Naval officer. After his retirement, he worked as a college instructor.
