Hind Hassan is a Journalist and Correspondent for VICE whose origin lies in Iraq. Her family later made their move to the UK.

Hind Hassan’s parents are immigrants from Iraq to the UK. She was born in Iraq but raised in the UK since she was three years old.
She was raised in Northern England, so she considers herself a citizen of both countries, British and Iraqi.
She cannot be found on Wikipedia, however, she has been tracked by a number of other internet portals and websites.
She studied at the University of Leeds, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Medicinal Chemistry focused on retrosynthesis drug design and organic focused medicinal Chemistry.
After her bachelor’s, she changed her majors and graduated with a Master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the City University of London.
Hind spends most of her time traveling the work primarily for work and sometimes for pleasure. She is proficient in Arabic and English.
A Quick Peek at her Career
Hind started to work as a news producer for Al Jazeera Media Network in July 2010 for two years and covered 2011’s “Arab Spring.”
Hind was also one of the team members that covered Muammar Gaddafi’s death in October 2011.
Hind was also working for Sky News from July 2009 till 2013, working as an international content producer. She covered the trials of Julian Assange, Syrian refugees, and the British terror trials.
After her job in Sky News, she joined VICE as a correspondent, produced by Vice Media and HBO. She has since covered dangerous topics from the midst of the conflicting zones.
She was awarded the Edward R Murrow award for reporting from Azerbaijan.
Her most recent work was in Afghanistan, where she covered the Taliban and their governing work and their systems. She also covered the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan.
