Charlie attended Scots College and later graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1981. Upon graduating from college, he served for some years at the Children’s Medical Center, Dallas, Texas. Charlie was also an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Arkansas.

Due to Charlie Teo’s reputation, he has visited several countries and given speeches on different occasions and institutions. Charlie has written books and taught regularly in the United States.
