Rashan came to prominence through her acting, though she initially dedicated more time to her career on the radio. Nevertheless, it was in 2007 that she made her first breakthrough, with the role of Monica in the film “Three Can Play That Game”, a romantic comedy with Vivica A. Fox, Jason George and Jazsmin Lewis in the lead roles. Rashan was chosen for the lead role in the film “A Time For Love” (2013), next to Na’Jahri SanGai Atkins, and Mekhi Bailey, and continued with a role in the television film “A Christmas Blessing” in the same year, while in 2016 she starred in the comedy film “Definitely Divorcing”, with Terri Abney and Carlos Aviles. In 2017 she was chosen alongside Quad Webb-Lunceford, Syleena Johnson and Kiana Dancie to host a new show on TV One, which comprises humorous thoughts on various topics, including relationships, parenting, fitness and others. However, recently Kiana Dancie was replaced by Trina Braxton, but the show has become quite popular, and launched Rashan to stardom.
