Phoenix Serial Killer Dale Hausner – Where Is He Now?

The third and fourth episodes of Netflix’s Catching Killers revolve around the Pheonix serial killers Dale Hausner and his partner Samuel Dieteman.

Dale Hausner was a Pheonix serial killer and arsonist. He and his partner in crime, Samuel Dieteman, shot pedestrians, animals, and set fire to a variety of objects.

Hausner and Dieteman were high on methamphetamine at the time. In a single trial, he was charged with 80 felonies out of 87, and he was sentenced to death six times.

Dale and Samuel’s fame is currently being showcased on the Netflix series Catching Killers. It’s a true-crime documentary that looks into the cases of notorious criminals.

Catching Killers premiered on 9 February 2022. The show has featured the case of serial killers and arsonists, Samuel and Dale on the 3rd and 4th episodes.

Phoenix Serial Killer Dale Hausner – His Bio Explored

Dale Hausner was a Pheonix serial killer and arsonist. He was also a boxing photojournalist and a former custodian.

Since 1999, he has worked at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. He was also hired by RingSports and Fightnews.com.

In 2005, Hausner relapsed, and he and his partner, Samuel, committed drive-by shootings and arson in Arizona. They were high on methamphetamine at the time they committed the crimes.

Pedestrians and animals were Dale and Samuel’s primary targets. Meanwhile, they set a number of objects on fire in Pheonix, Arizona.

Phoenix Serial Killer Dale Hausner – Where Is He Now Together With His Crime Partner Samuel Dieteman?

As of now, Dale Hausner has perished while his crime partner, Samuel Dieteman serves in the Arizona State Prison Complex.

On 19 June 2013, Hausner was found unresponsive in the correctional facility of Arizona. He was declared dead by the doctors after he was taken to the hospital.

The postmortem report revealed that Dale committed suicide by overdosing on anti-depressants.

Charges – Was Dale Hausner Sentenced To 364 Years In Prison?

Dale Hausner was sentenced to six death sentences and 364 years in prison.

After his arrest, he was charged with 87 crimes including murder. During his first trial on 13 March 2009, he was found guilty of 80 of them.

Hausner was convicted of 6 murders, several attempted murders, drive-by shootings, aggravated assaults, cruelty to animals, firearms charges, and arson.

Dale Hausner was 40 years old when he left this world by committing suicide.

He was born on 4 February 1973 in Arizona, U.S. He was an American citizen and had a white ethnic background.

Hausner was arrested in 2006 when he was 33 years old. He was in prison from 2006 to 2013 until he killed himself.
