Ari Lennox Arrested: Who Ordered Her Apprehension In Amsterdam?

Ari Lennox was apprehended by the Amsterdam Police Department in the Netherlands. On Monday, R&B/soul singer Ari Lennox revealed on Twitter that she is being imprisoned in Amsterdam for racial profiling.

After arriving in Amsterdam, Netherlands, the Dreamville artist appeared to have been profiled by airport security. She expressed her dissatisfaction with the security in Amsterdam on Twitter around 4:16 p.m. ET.

She tweeted twenty minutes later that she had been arrested and was being held in Amsterdam for reacting to a woman who was racially stereotyping her.

A Twitter user collected more messages that appear to have been removed, hinting that the profiling was prompted by an encounter with KLM, a Dutch airline.

She added that all she wanted to do was go home and that she would never leave her house again before disclosing more information about the incident.

What Really happened With Ari Lennox

The Dreamville musician appeared to have been profiled by airport security after arriving in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Around 4:16 p.m. ET, she conveyed her discontent with the security in Amsterdam on Twitter.

They had apprehended her due to a racial confrontation, and she was being held in Amsterdam for responding to a woman who was racially stereotyping her.

The incident occurred shortly after her performance at the Soul Train Awards on Sunday, during which she sang her current single, Pressure, with Summer Walker. She announced her departure on Twitter at 9:02 p.m. ET on Sunday.

It’s unclear what happened between the singer and security after her 4:36 a.m. tweets because she hasn’t provided any updates. This is a story that is still being developed.
