Steven Gallant, the killer and ‘hero’ of the Hull terror assault, has spoken out for the first time about his guilt and his desire to help others improve their lives following his early release from prison.
Khan stabbed Cambridge University graduates Jack Merritt, 25, and Saskia Jones, 23, to death on November 29, 2019, while Steven Gallant was out on day parole to attend a prisoner rehabilitation event.

Mr. Gallant was awarded early release from prison earlier this year as a result of his bravery.
As the situation progressed, Mr. Gallant violated a prison guard’s advice to remain seated and found the officer administering first aid to a woman and another woman on the floor.
