What Happened To Tannya Joaquin? Hawaii Reporter's Absence Raises Questions - Where Is She Today?

Tannya Joaquin is an accomplished journalist. She is well-known as the host of Living808 on KHON, Hawaii’s original lifestyle show.

She collaborates with John Veneri and Mikey Monis on the show, bringing a lifelong love of storytelling. Moreover, showcasing Hawaiin life.

The American journalist has worked in the news industry for more than two decades. Here’s all there is to know about her whereabout!

 

What Happened To Tannya Joaquin?

In 2015, Tannya Joaquin had left Hawaii News Now to give time to her family members.

As of now, she is absolutely enjoying as the host of Living808 on KHON. The reporter shares stories on people, places, events at the Hawaiin land.

The Emmy nominated host has been working in the industry for two decades. She was only five when she had first started her broadcast career.

Joaquin has done Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UCLA. She was the first Hawaii broadcaster to incorporate social media.

Prior to KHON, the broadcaster has worked as a producer in LA and San Francisco. Also, has worked as an anchor in Ohio and Santa Barbara.

Joaquin had received an Emmy nomination for her broadcast on the molasses spill into Honolulu Harbor that destroyed thousands of fish.

Tannya Joaquin is in Hawaii working as the host of  Living808.

She teams up with John Veneri and Mikey Monis for Hawaii’s original lifestyle show. It air on weekdays at 9 AM on KHON2.

Is Tannya Joaquin Leaving KHON2?

Tannya Joaquin is staying with KHON2. At the moment, she is ecstatic about her job, but her children have grown up.

However, Joaquin had left Hawaii News Now in 2015 to provide time to her family.

Tannya was born and raised in the Hawaiian city of Honolulu. She adores her birthplace and wishes she could spend the rest of her adolescence there.

Tannya Joaquin Family: Meet Her Husband & Kids

Tannya Joaquin is living with her husband Alan and two children. They have a son named Kaimana, 6, and a daughter, Hana, 3.
