She wrote, “on Instagram, Russians are harassing Marianna. She is one of the women from Mariupol’s maternity hospital who the Russians shelled.”

Marianna Podgurskaya, a pregnant blogger is accused of fake injuries on Instagram. A photo of her fleeing with blood on her face made headlines around the world.
However, the Russian Embassy stated that the blogger was wearing “some very realistic make-up”. And further denied that she was in the hospital during the strike.

It also claimed, without providing proof, that the hospital was non-functioning and was being used by a “neo-Nazi” Ukrainian military force.
As a result, the netizens on Twitter and Instagram who were sympathizing with her are now attacking her.
Her most recent Instagram post had over 25,000 comments as of now, with some negative and positive comments. Some users are accusing her of taking part in a “shameless” “fake photoshoot.” The vast majority of these comments were in Russian.
Others, on the other hand, urged her to “remain strong” and wished her a “serene birth.” Podgurskaya’s supporters also left blue and yellow heart emojis in the comments, the colors of the Ukrainian flag.
The embassy’s posts are, however, removed from Twitter for violating the platform’s Abusive Behavior policy.
