Laura Caso is an American award-winning journalist who currently works at WKYC Studios as the anchor of the evening news at 6 p.m. Prior to this, she spent four years serving as a news anchor at WAVY-TV in Norfolk, Virginia area. Following her education, she attended Weston School in Massachusetts where she graduated in 2007. Later on, she enrolled at the University of Miami where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Caso’s career journey however started at WENY-TV in Elmira, New York, where she worked as the morning news anchor. She later relocated to Jacksonville, Florida where she worked at TENGA on First Coast News as a weekend anchor and reporter after she had finished exploring the Twin Tires.

In February 2016, she joined WAVY-TV in Norfolk, Virginia Area where she worked as an anchor and also took part in the launch of two new evening newscasts. She has covered the story of a young boy who battled cancer in 2019. A story that allowed the boy to find the good liver he needed. However, she later left WAVY-TV in February 2020 and joined WKYC-TV in Cleveland, Ohio where she currently serves as an evening anchor.
