Shaquille O’Neal appeared on a printer advertisement in 2019 as part of his partnership with Epson. O’Neal joined the multinational electronics company as a brand technology ambassador.
The first line of printers Shaq endorsed was the EcoTank, which does not require the buying of new cartridges. The old technology was replaced with refillable bottles that will save consumers a lot of money. These bottles last 15 times longer than the cartridges.
As part of his partnership with Epson, O’Neal will appear in TV commercials, online advertisements and marketing materials. The Hall of Fame center also made some live appearances to promote the brand.

Shaquille O’Neal is one of the most recognizable people in the world because of his NBA career, as well as his stature as a 7’1″ behemoth. Shaq’s personality also makes it easier for brands to strike up a partnership. Here’s what the LA Lakers legend said when he signed with Epson.

According to PR Newswire, the deal between Epson and O’Neal is for several years. Epson President and CEO, Keith Kratzberg, explained why they chose Shaq as their partner. Kratzberg pointed out the four-time champ’s fun personality and business portfolio as important factors.

“Shaq’s fun and dynamic personality engages a wide variety of fans and customers from around the world,” Kratzberg said. “His energetic approach to life, outstanding business acumen and passion for technology make him the perfect partner for Epson.”
Since signing a deal with Epson, Shaq has appeared in a total of 18 commercials. In addition to EcoTank, O’Neal has also endorsed RapidReceipt, FastFoto and EpiqVision. The video below is O’Neal’s first commercial with Epson.

Shaquille O’Neal is not just known as a basketball player and an entrepreneur. O’Neal is also famous for giving back to the community. As part of his deal with Epson, they collaborated on a program called “Epson and Shaq Give Back.”
They will help provide schools around the country with printers, projectors, scanners and other technological products in partnership Communities In Schools or CIS. One of the aims of the project is to help students stay in school and graduate.
“Epson and I share the same passion for education and giving back,” O’Neal said. “We can’t wait to roll this program out.”
