Russell Crowe made his red carpet debut with girlfriend Britney Theriot at the premiere of his new film Poker Face in Rome, Italy, on Sunday night.

The Hollywood star, 58, who finalised his divorce from ex-wife Danielle Spencer in 2018, couldn’t wipe the smile off his face as he cuddled up to the actress-turned-real estate agent, 31, at the screening.

Looking dapper in a suit and T-shirt, the father of two lovingly wrapped his hand around Britney’s waist as they smiled for photographers.

The smitten pair turned towards each other and chatted between themselves as the Italian paparazzi snapped away from behind the railings.

His American partner oozed sophistication in a printed A-line frock and black heels. 

Styling her blonde locks in loose waves, Britney completed her look with an elegant black evening bag and a gold wristwatch.

They have been dating since 2020, but have kept their romance out of the spotlight until now

The notoriously private couple confirmed their long-rumoured romance with a kiss on the tennis court back in November 2020.

They are believed to have met on the set of Russell’s 2013 film Broken City, when Britney was still working as an actor.

Britney, who is the spitting image of Russell’s ex-wife Danielle Spencer, has since become a real estate agent.

According to People, Britney is from New Orleans, Louisiana, and attended an all-girls private Catholic high.

The blonde studied electrical engineering at University.

The couple haven’t publicly spoken about their romance, despite being pictured together on numerous occasions.

Sunday night’s premiere, however, marks the first time Russell and Britney have been pictured on the red carpet as a couple.

The pair have spent the past few weeks in Rome where Russell is filming The Pope’s Exorcist.

He plays Father Gabriele Amorth, who is said to have cast out devils by performing more than 100,000 exorcisms, in the supernatural drama.

Russell has a long-standing affiliation with Rome, after appearing in Ridley Scott’s Gladiator in 2000, which is set in the ancient Roman Empire.

Russell and his ex-wife Danielle married in April 2003 at his farm in Nana Glen, NSW.

The former couple share two teenage sons, Charles and Tennyson. 

They separated in 2012 and finalised their divorce six years later.
