Police in Lambeth, south London, have launched a hunt after “at least 12 rounds” were fired between “a pair on a moped and persons in a car” on Sunday night. Two men were killed in the drive-by shooting.
Around 7.50 p.m., Metropolitan Police received a call reporting gunfire on Railton Road.
The London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance are there at the scene, along with police officers and weapons officers.
Despite the efforts of the emergency services, both of the guys who were found injured at the scene were declared deceased.

A report of gunfire on Railton Road prompted a contact to the Metropolitan Police at around 7.50 p.m.

“Shoots were heard,” he continued. “A policewoman on the scene informed me it was a shooting.” Locals heard 12 bullets fired during a firefight between a pair on a motorbike and a group of persons in a sedan. At the site, the vehicle has crashed.
At this moment, there is no information about the two guys who died’s injuries.
Their next of kin are yet to be informed and police are awaiting formal identification, with post-mortem examinations to be held in due course.

Helen Hayes, Labour’s representative for Dulwich and West Norwood, expressed her sympathies to the families of the victims.
There are crime scenes in the neighborhood and a number of closed roadways.
Residents have been asked to talk with officers if they have any information and will see an increased police presence in the area, according to the force.
