Laura Kronen, a poll worker in Fulton County, Georgia, was terminated from her position after she revealed on social media that she wanted to ensure a “free and fair election process” on Tuesday.
“My son and I were just kicked out of being a Fulton County Poll [Workers] because I posted on Twitter this morning that I was working at the polls to ensure a free and fair election,” Laura K said in a tweet posted on Tuesday. “HELP!” she added.
Honestly it’s Fulton county. They aren’t going to let anyone like you work the polls. Do you not remember the “pipe bursting” then all the suit cases of ballots pulled from under the table. I’m native Georgian. Fulton county is corrupt.

Other social media denizens were quick to comment on the development on Tuesday.
“Well….I mean… did you really think the criminals were just gonna let you stay there and watch them steal the election?” asked one respondent. Another person suggested the idea to contact legal counsel. “Contact the Fulton County GOP. They should have attorneys on standby–if not there, then at a regional or state headquarters,” the Twitter user said.
Georgia was the site of numerous election irregularities during the 2020 election. In one infamous incident, a water pipe burst late at night led to a supposed stop in the count in Fulton County, which encompasses Atlanta.
It was later revealed that the pipe burst occurred shortly after 6 a.m. and that repairs were completed within two hours, however. The incident was not reported until shortly after 9 p.m. that evening, well into the count.
