As mentioned, Gal Gadot will be the main star of Netflix’s upcoming action thriller “Heart of Stone” and co-produce it (via Deadline). Gadot is perhaps best known for starring as Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe films starting with “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” in 2016, followed by her own two solo ventures in 2017 and 2020, as well as in both Joss Whedon and Zack Snyder’s “Justice League” films. Additionally, this will be her second time starring in a Netflix thriller after working alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Ryan Reynolds in the 2021 film “Red Notice.” Gadot will be playing CIA agent Rachel Stone, who she describes as a lover of the adrenaline she receives from her daring escapades (via Netflix Tudum).

Starring alongside Gadot is Jamie Dornan, who plays the part of Parker in the film. Dornan, best known for his roles in the “Fifty Shades” trilogy, “Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar” and “Belfast,” was attached to the cast of “Stone” in early February 2022 (via Deadline). The film will also star Bollywood star Alia Bhatt as Keya Dhawan in her English debut, who was added to the movie in March 2022 (via Deadline). The announced cast is Sophie Okonedo, Matthias Schweighöfer, Jing Lusi, and Paul Ready, also announced in March 2022(via Deadline). It is unknown which roles we will be seeing these actors in.
