GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Sherry Corine Ealum-Morgan, 33, was arrested yesterday and charged with two counts of drug possession, one count of possession of drugs with intent to sell, possession of drug equipment, possession of a concealed weapon by a convicted felon, possession of personal identification cards for five or more people, and driving without a valid license.

A University of Florida Police Department Officer pulled Ealum-Morgan over on campus at 1:30 a.m. on November 27 for driving the wrong way on a one-way road. Ealum-Morgan reportedly volunteered that the scooter she was riding was not registered to her, but she said it was not stolen, to the best of her knowledge. The officer checked the VIN of the scooter and found that it had been reported stolen.

A search incident to arrest reportedly found various debit cards, credit cards, food stamp cards, driver’s licenses, and other personal identification cards for at least 14 people. The search also reportedly found 4 individual baggies containing a total of 3.5 grams of methamphetamine, two small baggies containing a total of 1 gram of Molly/2C, additional baggies, a small black scale, and 15 Depakote pills. She was also reportedly carrying a large hunting knife concealed on her person.

Ealum-Morgan reportedly told the officer that she deals Molly to support herself and her drug habits.

Ealum-Morgan served 200 days in the Alachua County Jail in 2022 after pleading nolo contendere to drug possession, driving without a valid license, providing false identification to law enforcement, and petit theft. She is also facing a sworn complaint charging her with drug possession following a trespassing investigation on September 9, 2022. She has seven local felony convictions. Judge Thomas Jaworski set bail at $17,000 with conditions that she not drive without a valid license and refrain from possessing or using alcohol or illegal drugs.
