Most of her children are heading their own business empires today, but it’s arguably Kris Jenner who gets credit for masterminding the entire operation. Kris gets credit for launching her daughters’ careers, specifically, although the perception about how she got them into the industry isn’t always positive.
Whether it was the right thing to do or not, Kris’ encouraging her daughters to put their lives on display for reality TV paid off handsomely. While Kylie’s self-made millionaire title may not quite have been the truth, there’s no way any of the Kar-Jenners would be where they are without their momager. Before her family became reality TV famous, though, Kris Jenner lived a very different life.
Kris Jenner Has Built Incredibly Successful Careers For Her Children
Kris Jenner. One of the most notable names within the Kardashian family. It is hard to deny that the ‘momager’ of six hasn’t achieved incredible success within the business world, having built an empire of fame and wealth for her children which will last them for decades, and even centuries.
While she rose to fame at age X, Kris Jenner has managed to ‘build a business empire’, something she has become well-known for among fans and publications. This solid foundation has been built off her several business ventures, including the show, managing bookings for her children and business deals, and helping them to achieve high levels of success.
Kris also supports many of their business ventures, taking a 10% cut of the earnings. This percentage makes up a portion of her $170 million net worth.
Her youngest two daughters, Kendall and Kylie, have amassed a combined estimated net worth of $795 million. A large portion of this is made up of the sisters’ business ventures and starring on their reality TV show, in combination with Kendall’s modeling career, which she started at the young age of 14 years old.
In addition, Khloe, Kourtney, and Kim also have multi-million dollar net worths, which again can be attributed to their role on their reality tv show, alongside their string of businesses and sponsorships.
However, at the start of her children’s careers, it was Kris who was making business phone calls and finding gigs for her girls.
As time passed, Kris effectively grew to be their manager, organizing and scheduling their day-to-day lives to what we see on screens now. This is likely a mammoth task, so she often starts her day early in the morning at around 4 am to get everything done.
She reportedly even has her own personal chef, who sends food to her house on a daily basis.

Alongside her children, many fans have also speculated that the mom of six pays her much younger boyfriend, Corey Gamble, for being her boyfriend.
However, it is unclear if this is actually true, as there has been no official confirmation of this rumor.
Before Her Rise To Fame, She Used To Work As An Air Hostess
However, life hasn’t always been so luxurious for the ‘momager’. While many fans know and love the Kris Jenner that we see on screens today, there are still many viewers who don’t know much about her past, or what her life was like before her rise to fame.
While much is not known about the reality stars’ past, there are some details that have been scattered around over the years. Kris Jenner grew up in San Diego, California, with her parents Mary Jo Ashton and Robert True Houghton.
Her parents would later divorce when she was seven years old, prompting her mother and sister to move to Clairmont, California. They then later relocated to San Diego, after Kris’s new husband experienced financial issues, with his business partner running off with the money.
In 1976, she worked for American Airlines as a flight attendant, before marrying Rob Kardashian, her late husband, two years later in 1978. Together, they gave welcomed the first of the Kardashian clan; Kourtney, Khloe, Kim, and Robert. However, they later divorced in 1991. After, Kris went on to marry Bruce Jenner that same year.
It was with Bruce that Kris conceived the two famous sisters, Kendall and Kylie, who have gone on to become two of the biggest stars in Hollywood.
It was only in 2007 that Kris Jenner would pitch the idea of Keeping Up With The Kardashians to TV producer Ryan Seacrest and really start up the Kar-Jenner fame machine.
