Ambulance called to KIIS Christmas party after Kyle and Jackie O staffer is left bloodied

Former Bachelor star-turned podcaster Brittany Hockley has revealed how KIIS FM’s Christmas party turned into chaos over the weekend. 

The 35-year-old, who is currently filling in for Kyle and Jackie O alongside co-hosts Mitch Churi and Human Nature’s Phil Burton, said an ambulance was called to the bash after newsreader Brooklyn Ross stepped on a broken champagne glass.

‘People were hitting a giant beach ball around but it turned into chaos very early,’ she explained.

‘Someone hit the ball, it went across the room, knocked someone in the head then ricocheted onto a whole table of glass, all the glasses smashed off.’

‘It was chaos and then as a champagne glass smashed, Brooklyn stepped on it and it went through his shoe,’ she said.

Brittany reassured that Brooklyn is fine and recovering.

Brittany has been replacing Jackie ‘O’ Henderson while the radio star took time off to recover from the after-effects of Covid.

On Monday, she announced she will now be hosting KIIS 106.5’s Summer Breakfast alongside co-hosts Mitch and Phil weekdays from 6-10am, where the trio fill in for Kyle and Jackie O over the Summer break.

‘Well it looks like you can’t get rid of me that easily. Like a rash from your European getaway I’m here to stay,’ she began.

‘It was chaos and then as a champagne glass smashed, Brooklyn stepped on it and it went through his shoe,’ she said

‘Get out your hair gel and your eternal flame because together with Mitch Churi’s hair and a sprinkle of Human Nature I’ll be in your ears every morning until the end of the year!’ 

Daily Mail Australia understands that Brittany’s Summer gig is part of the multi-million dollar deal she signed with the network back in October.

Both Brittany and her Life Uncut co-host Laura Byrne were reportedly ‘offered a multimillion dollar deal by ARN to host The 3pm Pick Up weekdays in 2023.’

Industry whispers suggest Brittany and Laura’s Life Uncut will replace The 3pm Pick Up after it was cancelled.
