The mother of Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley’s adopted daughter wants to regain custody after the couple were sentenced to prison.

While Kyle Chrisley’s ex Angela Johnson has “not filed any legal papers … as of right now” to become Chloe’s guardian again, she told TMZ on Monday that she is “in the process” of it.

Johnson, 31, clarified that she wants to “go back to court to get Chloe back home.”

Tearfully, she explained, “I want her home. She deserves to be home. … I’m her biological mom. I didn’t walk away from her. I was pushed out of her life.”

Todd, 53, and Julie, 49, previously shared custody of the now-10-year-old with Johnson in 2014 amid the patriarch’s son Kyle’s struggles with addiction and bipolar disorder.

The pair obtained full custody two years later when Johnson was arrested for allegedly filing a false application for Medicaid assistance.

Kyle thanked his parents in an August Facebook post that year, writing, “I haven’t been the best dad to Chloe, I’ve had a problem with drugs, I’ve acted completely ridiculous and through all that, they have stood by my side.”

Now that the “Chrisley Knows Best” alums have been convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion and sentenced to a total of 19 years in prison, their daughter Savannah Chrisley claims to have custody of Chloe and her 16-year-old brother, Grayson.

“[I”m] trying to navigate how you teach two younger children who aren’t fully developed yet and … get them to understand the circumstances,” the “Unlocked” podcast host, 25, told her listeners last month.

“That’s a really, really difficult thing,” the “Growing Up Chrisley” alum added in the Nov. 21 episode, calling it the “hardest part” of her parents’ legal battle.

Lindsie Chrisley and more of Savannah’s siblings have spoken out since the sentencing, with Kyle seemingly reacting with a Bible verse.

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you,” the former reality star, 31, wrote over an Instagram Story photo of the ocean on Nov. 22.

“Who do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?”

Kyle welcomed Chloe in November 2012. Since their split, Kyle has gone on to marry Alexus Whilby and Ashleigh Nelson in 2014 and 2021, respectively.
