At the age of 54, Adam Rich, who played the youngest son in the well-liked series Eight Is Enough, passed away.
According to TMZ, a family member confirmed that the former star had passed away on Saturday at his residence.
The newspaper was informed by law enforcement sources that when officers went to Rich’s house, they discovered him dead.
His cause of death was not disclosed by the family member, but according to police sources, it did not appear to be suspicious.

Adam Rich, an American actor who died on January 7, 2023, is most known for playing Nicholas Bradford, the youngest son, in the five-season television series Eight Is Enough (1977–1981). His pageboy haircut, which was a distinguishing part of his looks during his years as a child actor, encouraged other parents of the time to emulate the style for their young sons. He gained the moniker “America’s little brother” thanks to his role on the show.
Rich, the son of Francine and Rob Rich, was born on October 12, 1968. His relatives were Jews. Rich grew up in Granada Hills, Los Angeles, where he resided with his parents and younger brother.
He learned how to act at the neighborhood gym while the family was temporarily residing in Florida.

He participated in a variety of sports, such as baseball, football, skating, and swimming. Additionally, he enjoyed drawing. On television shows like The Love Boat, CHiPs, Fantasy Island, The Six Million Dollar Man, St. Elsewhere, and Baywatch, Rich had cameo appearances. Along with his Eight Is Enough co-star Willie Aames, he also contributed voices to the animated series Dungeons & Dragons.
Rich starred in television advertisements for Nabisco’s Wheatsworth crackers and Betty Crocker Snackin’ Cake.
