Katie Glaser claimed Alissa Humber “knew what she was doing” amid the love triangle with bosun Ross McHarg. Throughout the current season of Below Deck, Ross has gone back and forth flirting with both castmates – despite Katie’s feelings for him.
The drama seemingly was intensified by Alissa’s feud with Katie’s friend Camille Lamb, who was fired over her work performance. Before the termination, Alissa and Camille continually clashed and fought openly within earshot of guests.
On a recent episode of the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show, Katie was asked if Alissa’s flirtations were related to her feelings about Camille.
“One hundred percent, she definitely knew what she was doing, for sure,” said Katie, via Showbiz Cheat Sheet.
Andy then wondered whether Alissa and Katie ever talked about the flirting. “No,” answered Katie. “But she was very nice to my face and then …” Katie saw Alissa at the dock of a marina after the show finished filming. “But for a hot second, that’s it.”
Kate Chastain, a co-guest and former chief stew on the show, shared she was “Team Katie” regarding the drama.
According to Katie, Alissa was the ‘hardest thing’ about her romance with the bosun.

Teasing the love triangle with Showbiz Cheat Sheet, the deckhand revealed, “It was rocky! I felt like [Ross] was in the doghouse half the time … Because his behavior got him in trouble half the time. There is definitely an interesting love triangle.”
“I think with me having a boat romance with Ross … my hardest thing was dealing with Alissa … Ross and Alissa,” said the star. “So, not that she’s a terrible person, but when it comes to boat romances, I’m worried about myself and she tries to take him from me.”
The star explained why she kissed Ross early in the season. “Ross from the beginning when I first saw him, I was like, damn he’s cute,” shared Katie. “But it’s really his leadership. And that he is a boss figure. I think that kind of was super attractive to me. It’s kind of sexy to have someone that you look up to, that you know is teaching you the ropes. But also, you have a connection with. He definitely had more of a boss figure that was attractive to me.”
“I think I got out of my head a little bit about the whole boat romance the more I drank,” she went on. “So I think that’s one of the things that I could regret, just getting out of my head a little bit. But, things happen and you have to keep going. And I think it affected me a little bit more, on nights out when Ross would act like that.”
Alissa was accused of breaking ‘girl code’ as she held Ross’ hand after he and Katie allegedly hooked up. “She just likes to put in these little digs,” Katie remarked on Watch What Happens Live.
Addressing Ross’ mud-bath flirtation with Alissa, Katie said it was “kind of ridiculous because he wants to bounce back and forth. And that’s stupid.”
