Embattled West Virginia Congresswoman Carol Miller (WV-1) has refused to endorse President Trump in a pro-Trump district as she faces a challenge from America First candidate Derrick Evans.
Carol Miller, a GOP establishment Rep. from southern West Virginia has been under fire recently for her refusal to endorse President Trump on a radio show last week as well as her recent votes in support of massive spending including to support Ukraine.
Miller who represents a massively pro-Trump district in one of the reddest states in America often doesn’t represent her district’s values. Miller who is a career politician who has been in government since 2006 often votes against the America First agenda.

In Congress, Miller has consistently voted to send billions of dollars to Zelensky’s autocratic regime in Ukraine. Further, Miller has voted in favor of massive spending – she recently sold out the American people to vote in favor of the Biden-McCarthy debt ceiling deal that will put America $4 trillion deeper into debt.
Most damning is a scandal in which Miller’s family businesses received over 3 million dollars in Covid relief PPP funds in what many have dubbed corruption.
Last week, Miller went on the Tom Roten Morning Show, a local West Virginia radio show, to state her positions. Outside of defending her pro-spending policies, Miller blatantly refused to endorse President Trump and declined to endorse anyone. This is despite her district being one of the most pro-Trump in the country.
On the next episode of the show, Miller’s America First Challenger, Derrick Evans (R-Prichard), proudly endorsed President Trump.

Evans, a former State Delegate, is running on an America First platform to revive the nation and bring prosperity back to his district. Evans was held as a prisoner by the Department of Justice for his peaceful participation in the January 6th protest and cites that experience as one of the key reasons he is fighting against the increasingly totalitarian federal government.
Evans told National File; “We have infrastructure issues in our District, but Congresswoman Miller has found it more important to send BILLIONS of dollars to Ukraine. This is a red District, we deserve an America First Representative, and I’m excited to give the people an America First option in 2024.”
With the primary challenge heating up, those on the ground in West Virginia believe that Miller’s America last policies will be her Achilles heel in the upcoming election.
