Mom Says Daughter Taken By Sex Traffickers

A worried mom told police she’d received a tip that her daughter was being sex trafficked at a PMHA apartment on Robinson Avenue.

Officers told the woman they would document the information, but she would have to come to Portsmouth if she wanted to file a police report. The woman called back a few minutes later with additional information.

Police checked several apartments in the area, and a resident said that she had seen the alleged victim, and she seemed fine.

She said the woman was hiding from her mother because she had left drug treatment. Officers took a report but were unable to locate the alleged victim.
