Chelsea yet to decide on Andrey Santos as future Porto eye loan move for midfielder
That’s correct. Chelsea are yet to decide on the future of Andrey Santos, who has been linked with a loan move to Porto. The 19-year-old midfielder joined Chelsea from Vasco da Gama in January 2023, but he was unable to secure a work permit in time to play for the Premier League club. He was then loaned back to Vasco da Gama for the remainder of the season.
Porto are interested in signing Santos on loan for the 2023-24 season. They see him as a potential replacement for Mateus Uribe, who has left the club to join Qatar SC. Santos would be a good fit for Porto, as he is a young, talented player who has the potential to develop into a top player.

However, Chelsea are not yet sure whether they want to loan Santos out. They are still evaluating his progress and they want to see how he performs in pre-season. If they are impressed with his performances, then they may decide to keep him at the club for the upcoming season.
A decision on Santos’ future is expected to be made in the coming weeks.
