He was born in New Jersey and attended a private Roman Catholic high school Marist School in Atlanta, Georgia. After graduating in 1988, Baier graduated with a BA in political science and English from DePauw University in 1992.

The notable TV personality established his television career with a local station WJWJ TV16 n Hilton Head Island. He held various positions in coveted TV stations, including WRAL-TV and CBS.

Fox hired Baier as the network’s Atlanta bureau chief after he sent an audition tape to the network in 1998. The network named himĀ Fox News’s White House correspondentĀ covering the administration of George W. Bush in the fall of 2007.

Bret Baier served as the anchor and executive editor of FOX News’ Special Report after the network extended his current multi-year deal. Baier reportedly worked for the network for over two decades now.

He isn’t going anywhere; hence rumors of him departing the network are nothing but a hoax. He signed a multi-year deal and will continue to work as Fox’s chief political anchor, Suzanne Scott, the CEO of Fox News, disclosed.

FNC notable journalist hosts the Fox News Audio podcast Bret Baier’s All-Star Panel and the Fox Nation series calledĀ The Campaign, which primarily focuses on how candidates campaigned on the issues.
