What Happened To Toyz PTT? LOL Streamer Arrested For Drug Trafficking

Toyz was arrested by police on suspicion of drug trafficking. The news has been mentioned on the PTT website.

He is suspected of illegally trading second-level marijuana.

Trafficking in level 2 drugs will lead him to life imprisonment or at least 10 years behind the bars.

The Chinese gamer will also be fined around $15 million if proven guilty.

Further investigation on the drug racket is being carried out. More details will be released very soon.

Who Is Toyz PTT?

Toyz is a world-renowned gamer and streamer, as per his Wikipedia. His real name is Kurtis Lau Wai-kin.

The native of Hong Kong had an active career from 2011–2013. His second comeback was in 2015.

Toyz has played for Cross Gaming, Taipei Assassins, and Hong Kong Esports.

He coached the English side, Fnatic in 2014. In between  2017-2019, he managed Hong-Kong based team, G-Rex.

Toyz was Director of Esports in mid-2018 for G-Rex. He left the franchise at the end of 2019.

The Chinese gamer is a one-time world champion. He went on to win the League of Legends World Championship in 2012.

He has participated in over 15 major tournaments and has successfully won 8 of them.

Following a successful triumph at Taipei Assassins, he was forced to retire due to carpal tunnel syndrome.

He suffered from the medical condition due to compression of the median nerve in his wrist.
