Stewart White – Stewart’s first BBC live broadcast began with a short announcement to introduce a programme in Vietnamese on the BBC World Service. Our award-winning presenter went on to spend some time at BBC Radio Brighton before moving to BBC Radio Derby as a producer and presenter.
At BRMB Radio in Birmingham he presented the daily mid-morning programme. He moved from radio to television when he joined ATV (later to become Central Television), working on programmes including Star Soccer, Something Different and several network documentaries.

Stewart White has announced his retirement after 37 years of a wonderful career at BBC.
The journalist has not put forward any specific reason for his retirement. But he isn’t sick. He looked healthy as ever. He mentioned that it was the right time for him to step down.
After all, his career as a BBC broadcaster is very unlikely to be cloned. The journalist has conducted more than 10,000 interviews in his career, covering the best and most important stories of England.
Stewart White said that he will miss broadcasting more than anything and he never took it for granted. It was an emotional goodbye.

BBC Broadcaster Stewart White is married and shares three wonderful children with his wife. The family has a dog, cat, and several fish.
