Thomas Mccafferty Royal Mail Postman Sacked: The Royal Mail postman, Thomas McCafferty, has been fired by the corporation. He was caught on camera abandoning an elderly woman laying in the snow.
The postal service provider Royal Mail has fired Thomas McCafferty.
‘I can’t help you pal,’ he told an elderly woman named Patricia Stewart in February, and he must have heard the same line from his employer, Royal Mail.
The postman probably never imagined he’d have to say goodbye to his source of income, but he was reportedly fired from the company when the video went viral on the internet.
McCafferty was caught on CCTV camera leaving behind an old woman while she was asking for help on a freezing cold day back in February.
Patricia Stewart, an old-age pensioner was helped by the Hermes driver Karolina Domska 20-minutes after the incident, who later called neighbors for help.

Thomas McCafferty, the former employee of the postal service company Royal Mail was sacked after he refused to help an OAP.
Initially, the middle-adulthood aged man McCafferty was suspended after the incident went viral on social media.
However, the company took the correct decision months later after the incident which would have killed the 72-year-old pensioner Patricia Stewart.
Stewart, the grandmother of 2 had been lying on the ground on one of the coldest winters of 26 years asked to be helped by the fellow postman McCafferty, 51, but the request was denied.
He stated the old lady that he was ‘too knackered’ to offer his help and left her house on Falkirk stating that he can’t help her.

Thomas McCafferty left Patricia Stewart on snow outside of her house in Bainsford, Falkirk.
McCafferty, who was not a regular postman for the Stewart family denied the request of her help and left her freezing outside on one of the coldest winters on UK in 26 years.
The old pensioner, patient of osteoporosis waited for 20 minutes before finally getting help from Karolina, 22, and the neighbors.
She had fallen after she went to pick up the parcel. Stewart was surprised after being left out on the cold snow on February 11.
Stewart had suffered a head injury and felt dizzy as she was vaxxed a day before. She was rushed to the hospital after the neighbors called an ambulance.

Thomas McCafferty, 51, was an employee of Royal Mail.
Hailing from Scotland, the former employee was filmed denying helping an old pensioner Stewart, 72, the resident of Bainsford, Falkirk, leaving her behind on a cold snow.
The company had completed their internal investigation and released their employee McCafferty.
His family background and educational qualifications are unexplored.
