Ryan Leckey is indeed leaving WNEP-TV. When he was 18 years old, the self-proclaimed social media addict got his start in television at WJAC-TV (NBC) in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

He used to go to the same station as a middle schooler to pitch adolescent segment ideas to the general manager. Ryan started working behind the scenes in his hometown, learning how to run a newscast before switching to the news department a short time later.

Ryan mostly worked as a one-man band there, shooting, writing, and editing his own stories.

Ryan alone hosted his first broadcast at WJAC when he was 19 years old, and he reported, anchored, and filled in on the weather segments before leaving the station in 2005.

All while studying Communications at the University of Pittsburgh in Johnstown for his bachelor’s degree.

Ryan also accepted a reporting position with WNEP-TV, one of America’s most popular television stations, in 2005. The station is located near Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Ryan worked mornings and weekends before shifting to Monday through Friday for the first two years, where he became a regular face on Newswatch 16 This Morning.

Ryan Leckey has yet to announce his future employment to the public. It is true, however, that he will be leaving WNEP-TV. 

As a result, Ryan not only established himself as a regular personality, but he also created and continues to produce his own franchise section and special initiatives, owing in part to a great deal of professional latitude from his supervisors and other morning team members.

Being an anchor Ryan Leckey has a massive amount of earnings from his career background, where he has set his career as a successful anchor in the industry.

He is expected to be worth around $1 million in 2022. Besides this, he is estimated to have a Salary Range of $5k-$10k Annually. Ryan generally operated as a one-man show, shooting, writing, and editing his own stories.
