P Nation revealed that Jessi departed the organization on July 6, 2022, following three years with the label. The K-pop idol’s resignation was confirmed by P Nation in a press release, according to the Kpop Herald and Herald Pop.
Notably, South Korean power couple DAWN and HyunA joined the label immediately after Jessi, who was the first artist to do so in early 2019. After she insulted singer and actress BoA via MySpace, she was forced to take a five-year break from the Korean music scene.
