Paige did not like their reaction of Jacques after he had heard about the adam saying he was immature. Even though Jacques did not confront Adam, it was clear that things were not working between the two of them. Paige described the action of Jacques as a hot-headed and defensive person.
The reason why Jacques left Love Island might be related to the new season participant Casa Amore. During the 12 July episode, he said that he was feeling like himself anymore and wanted to take a break.
On the Tuesday night of the show’s emotional scene, Jacques said goodbye to the show after he took Paige to the terrace and explained to her his situation. He clearly expressed his feelings about how much Paige meant to him and he was unable to maintain his brave face anymore.
On Jacques clarification, he said” I can’t be myself and stick to Page like this, It is not right to Paige and I should leave to make the situation fair to her. I will be waiting for her outside and so I’m gonna leave.”
