McLean died in a car accident in Turkey, while his girlfriend Yazmin Oukhellou was injured and taken to the hospital. The crash occurred in an infamous black spot in Bodrum, according to locals.
His family was clearly shocked by the news, and his distraught mother told prosecutors that her son was a “skilled driver.” She claimed Jake would not have lost control of the car in this manner and told the prosecutors that something in the car was distracting him.
Because the mother knows their children better than anyone else, Anita is also aware of his excellent driving skills; thus, she couldn’t believe the crash was caused by poor driving behavior.

However, he died, and his mother, Anita, told authorities that she believed a fight between the two had played a role.
The 28-year-old TOWIE star revealed she needs time to recover from her injuries after being with Jake during the terrifying crash.
Yazmin also stated that she has avoided social media since witnessing the terrifying accident and witnessing her partner die in front of her.
