Why Was Spencer Matthews Hospitalized?
Spencer Matthews overdosed on cold sore medication, according to his wife Vogue Williams, and spent two days of his family vacation in the hospital.
The former Made in Chelsea star, 35, fell ill while they were recently traveling in Spain, according to the Irish media personality, 37.
Spencer Matthews, a British media figure, spent two days in the hospital while on holiday with his family as a result of “overdosing on cold sore tablets.” Vogue Williams, his wife, described how the worrying incident occurred when they were traveling in Spain.
The entire family, including Spencer, Vogue, and her aunt, contracted a sickness, and the trip quickly turned chaotic. co-host Joanne McNally and she discussed the matter on their podcast My Therapist Ghosted Me.
“Spenny was a little b***h and he can’t handle it, so he spent two days in the hospital. I’ll tell you what happened, though: He took too many antiviral medications. I’ll say it again: I’m not kidding. He took ten of these tablets for a full week while saying they were alright, and as a result, he overdosed on cold-sore medications and damaged his liver.
He did that to me when I thought I felt a tingle, she said, telling me to take six of them even though I was only supposed to take two.
She admitted that she wasn’t too sure if overdosing was the only reason for the sickness since he particularly had been struggling with the stomach bug compared to the other two.
The couple had been enjoying their vacation along with their children, they are four-year-old Theodore, three-year-old Gigi as well as 15-month-old Otto.
