Who Is Sarah Greene?
Elizabeth Sarah Greene was born in London’s St. Pancras on October 24, 1957.
She works as a television host in England. From May 1980 until June 1983, she co-hosted Blue Peter and hosted the Saturday morning shows Saturday Superstore and Going Live!
In 2012, Greene signed on as an ambassador for the ovarian cancer foundation Target Ovarian Cancer.
Greene and her husband Mike Smith served as directors of Flying TV Ltd. beginning in 1985. This company produces aviation videos and operates helicopters out of Denham Aerodrome in Denham, Buckinghamshire. Greene has continued to serve as the organization’s director ever since Smith passed away.
The BBC Breakfast Time host Mike, who died tragically at the age of 59 in 2014 from complications following heart surgery, was married to the television broadcaster, 65, well known for hosting Blue Peter and Saturday Superstore, from 1989 until his passing in 2014.
Despite her successful presenting career, Sarah withdrew from the spotlight after Mike’s passing to concentrate on managing his aerial filming company.
However, Sarah will make a significant television comeback this year as Roman Kemp’s co-host on the new BBC game show The Finish Line.
Sarah stated that she has no plans to retire and that her late husband would be “proud” of her comeback to television now that she is back on the small screen.
