Samuels was reportedly going to compete in the inaugural season of VH1’s “Scared Famous,” which debuted that year. In 2020, Samuels’ “Straitt” was the title of his debut studio album.

Moreover, Samuels may have entered the stage with the group as a rapper, but he did not stay that way. He succeeded as a songwriter, producer, and reality TV star. He also produced multiple mixtapes.
