ALACHUA, Fla. – Wa-Nia Alexandra Smith, 21, was arrested early yesterday morning and charged with six felonies and a misdemeanor after allegedly pushing past two children to enter a residence, attacking a man in his bedroom, and damaging a television.
At about 4:38 a.m. on September 9, Smith reportedly knocked on the door of the adult victim’s residence, and one of two juvenile victims answered the door, thinking it was their father. Smith allegedly pushed the adult victim aside and went to a rear bedroom, where she physically attacked a man who was in bed with an infant. The report states that the infant was placed in danger of significant bodily harm because Smith attacked the man with reckless disregard for the infant’s safety.
