Austin Majors Death Cause
According to the findings of the coroner’s report, Austin Majors, a young actor on NYPD Blue, passed away from an unintended fentanyl overdose when he was at a transitional living facility in Los Angeles.
The site where Majors, 27, died from fentanyl poisoning more than seven months ago was found to have drug paraphernalia, according to documents from the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office, according to TMZ.
Authorities said that among the items discovered were two folded dollar bills, tin foil with white powder attached to it, tablets, and a shot glass with white powder residue.
Majors was found “unresponsive in his bed” on February 11 at 9:30 p.m. PST by security personnel after he refused to respond to a bed check, according to the website.
Majors had been seen getting food at the facility, which is a temporary shelter for unhoused people, hours before he was found in his room, according to authorities.


Who Was Austin Majors?
On November 23, 1996, Austin Setmajer was born in California.
was a scholar who also worked as an actor, passing all of his classes with a grade to spare. In 2013, Majors finished second in his high school graduating class.
Majors belonged to the fraternity Alpha Tau Omega. He was a Boy Scout junior assistant Scoutmaster and a keen outdoorsman.
At the age of fourteen, he achieved Eagle Scout, the highest rank in scouting. Majors enjoyed giving back to the community and supported numerous charity organizations, such as Kids with a Cause, the Ronald McDonald House, and the Jonathan Jaques Children’s Cancer Center.
He enjoyed producing his own movies, going on adventures, playing sports, going to concerts, riding horses, and hiking when not in front of the camera.
Actor Austin Majors made his television debut as Theo Sipowicz on the show NYPD Blue when he was just three years old. He has made guest appearances on TV shows like ER, According to Jim, and NCIS. He began his acting career as a child in television commercials.
At USC, Majors was a part of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.
The movie Nevada featured Majors on his debut performance in 1997. From 1999 to 2004, he played Theo in 48 episodes of the ABC police program NYPD Blue.
He went on to star in The Price of Air in 2000, Providence in 2001, Treasure Planet in 2002, and Bananas in 2004.
