Susan Francia is the beloved daughter of Katalin Kariko. Susan is a Hungarian-American two-time Olympic gold medalist rower. Besides, she is affiliated with the US Rowing Training Center.

Further, she was born on November 8, 1982, and started rowing as a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania in 2001.
