MSU sends out alert

Morgan State University has shared that an “active investigation is currently underway” related to reports of gunfire “on or near campus.”

“Please stay clear of the area surrounding Thurgood Marshall Hall and the Murphy Fine Arts Center and shelter in place.”

Multiple injured, CBS reports

Baltimore Police reportedly confirmed to CBS News that “multiple people have been injured,” the outlet reports.

Police have not publicly confirmed any injuries.

Police are asking everyone to shelter in place as they investigate reports of gunfire.

Active shooter incident on campus

Baltimore cops are currently investigating reports of an active shooter on Morgan State University’s campus.

Police rushed to the Maryland campus after reports of gunfire came in tonight around 9pm ET.
