A SENIOR citizen moved into an RV after she was priced out of her home and became homeless but was handed a lifeline.
The 75-year-old woman from Mesa, Arizona lived in her RV on a $289 per month fixed income.

She shared her story and RV on the YouTube channel Big Super Living in Arizona.
The RV owner revealed that she was able to afford her motorhome after receiving her life insurance inheritance when her parents died.
Prior to moving into the RV, she had become homeless when she was priced out of her home in June 2021.
The senior citizen said: “I lost my home that’s how I became homeless.
“They sold it for a fortune and kicked us out, told us not to come back and carry what we could in our arms.”
She also explained how bad her situation had become when she dealt with homelessness.
The senior said: “I lost everything I owned down to my shorts and shirt in the dead of winter.”
She also added that her criminal background made it difficult to find somewhere to rent after she was asked by the host whether she fully lived in her RV or if she plugged it in somewhere.
The motorhome owner said: “I have a record, I have a judgment, nobody will rent to me.”

She walked through the inside of the home with the YouTube channel host.
The RV was sizeable and contained most of the essentials like a kitchen, bedroom, and toilet.
The motorhome had a small kitchen area equipped with a sink, microwave, cooker, and full fridge which was powered by a generator.
She revealed that the fridge was not turned on when the video was recorded, as the generator cost $175 to fill and supposedly did not last long.
The senior said: “Don’t last but a day or two and that can get expensive.”
This tour then showed the bathroom area which included a full-sized shower, toilet, sink, mirror, and storage.
The final room was her bedroom which had enough space for a king-sized bed, covered in clothes and goods, and a TV.
She joked: “But I bought so much stuff I’ve had to sleep on the couch.”
The senior citizen claimed that the RV could sleep four people comfortably on the bed and a couch that could expand into a queen-sized bed.
This motorhome also included lots of storage space in the form of indoor closets and outside skirting compartments.
One of the outdoor compartments was home to the 4000-watt Generac generator.
She listed the perks of the device and said: “That you can be self-sufficient without any hookups.
“I would run my refrigerator, my microwave, my bedroom’s airconditioner, my middle air conditioner.”
Her “oldie but a goodie” RV was produced in 2000 and the owner was looking to sell it for $25,000 as she had another motorhome.
