CHUCK E Cheese lovers had their hearts broken after seeing their favorite childhood games left to decay at an abandoned diner.
Zek and Mae are Youtubers dedicated to sharing abandoned buildings such as hospitals and diners to reveal what happens after closures.

The pair post on their channel Urbax Vibes to “document abandonment” and “explore the leftovers of the forgotten world.”
In one of their videos, the pair explore an abandoned Chuck E Cheese leaving viewers shocked at their childhood memories that have been left to “rot.”
As Zek and Mae headed to the location at night, they said: “I’m excited for this one…it’s a nostalgic thing for like pretty much everyone.”
“A lot of them are closing and this one in particular closed due to bankruptcy,” Zek explained.
“They filed for bankruptcy in 2020 and it was a nationwide plan I guess to save the business, they picked a massive amount of locations to close.”
According to the YouTubers, the iconic arcade games no longer carry the same meaning for children nowadays who are “just stuck on their phone.”
They entered the eerie building at midnight and the video shows empty booths, spray paint over Chuck E Cheese’s face, strips of game tickets on the floor, and abandoned toys including a small slide and train.
Zek found two coins from 2004 and a picture of a child that had been taken on one of the gaming units.
“There’s so many games here, I’m really surprised,” Mae said.
“These machines themselves are probably expensive. I’m surprised they’re here getting all damaged and stuff,” Zek added.
“Look at the old seats where you eat your Chuck E Cheese pizza.”
Mae then reminisced about a hamster wheel game saying, “Oh I remember this thing you hold on to it and run.
“It’s stuck because it’s not on but you would run like a hamster wheel and you would have to go as fast as you can.”
Meanwhile, the pair agreed that the new mouse representing Chuck E Cheese has “got to go.”

Zek said: “This new Chuck E got to go. I don’t like him.”
“I don’t like him either it’s ugly..we don’t like this new Chuck E, bring back the old Chuck E,” Mae added.
When they came across the “old Chuck E” his face had been spray painted over in black paint.
“There’s Chuck E, the old Chuck E…wow they really messed up his face, good old Chuck E,” Mae said.
At one point during their exploration of the abandoned diner, the heating system made “creepy noises” and there was some faint music.
“That was great, it was fun, it was nostalgic. You would think that those kinds of places would be emptied out so that was an amazing surprise for us,” Mae.
Viewers were shocked that so much had been left behind.
“It’s a real shame that memories of both adults and even teenagers are starting to fade away,” one said in the comments.
“This is so sad. Not just that this place was abandoned, but how all that stuff was just LEFT there to rot, from coins to prizes to games,” another said.
“Even Chucky’s endoskeleton is there like it’s worthless. Hopefully, it all will be put to use again someday.”
“Creepy but so wild to remember the memories and to see how everything decays,” a third added.
Others are hoping to salvage what is left and to restore some of the iconic games.
One viewer said: “As a person who restores arcade machines I would LOVE the opportunity to take all those busted-up machines out.
“There are LOADS of good parts in there. I wonder who owns them…”
“No way, this is literally my childhood location I can’t believe that much of their animatronic is still left,” another added.
“I literally wanna go here & salvage some of the stuff so bad like I WANT THOSE TICKET MUNCHERS.”
