A FURIOUS landlord was forced to evict his nightmare tenants who owed him £36,000 – but they refused to leave after calling the cops on him.
The property owner, 60, made multiple attempts to kick the family out of his Singapore condo before the confrontation turned sour.

The unidentified tenants allegedly owed the disgruntled landlord over £36,000 in rent, but refused to pay up or move out, local media reported.
“Before they moved in, they paid one month’s rent. But every time I ask for money from them, they give all sorts of reasons to evade payment,” the landlord told Chinese Daily, adding that the one-year lease was signed in July last year.
“They say their money is overseas and can’t be transferred over, or that they have millions of dollars confiscated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. They even said they want to buy the unit from me,” he added.
The family also claimed that the apartment complex had leaking issues and a faulty lock, citing these as the reasons for not paying their rent.
But the landlord said he had spent almost £120,000 renovating the house prior to the tenants moving in – and they had not made any complaints beforehand.
But despite the mounting pile of complaints and the expired lease, the family has still not moved out, and the tense situation between the landlord and tenants has quickly turned nasty.
With the tenants refusing to pack up their belongings, the landlord became increasingly frustrated and took matters into his own hands.
He locked up the front gate with a metal chain to “scare them away” but the family called the cops on him and brought in a locksmith to remove the chain.

Both parties have reportedly called the cops on each other at least six times according to local reports.
The landlord and his cousin also hired someone to visit the house with a chainsaw in an attempt to cut off the iron gate at the front of the uni but the tenants were quick to retaliate.
They sprayed a water hose at the pair, leaving them drenched in front of the apartment.
The landlord said: “We only broke a few iron supports next to the iron door and did not enter the house.
“They sprayed water until we were soaked all over. They also kicked and injured my cousin. Then they also called the police.”
The cops are currently conducting an investigation into intentional injury and harassment, according to local media.
But this is not the first time the family has made headlines for being hellish tenants.
In 2017, the family was found to not be paying rent on a number of several terrace houses in the East Coast area.
As a result, they were slapped with a court order to pay around £60,000 in compensation to their landlords.
It comes after a homeowner revealed his horror after discovering piles of rubbish and dirty dishes his tenants left behind after renting his house.
And in 2020, tenants from hell left a house full of animal poo, dead snakes, and flies – making the landlord fear his kid’s well-being.
