A VETERAN and his son say they caught proof on camera that bigfoot is real.
The father and son duo have shared their shocking discovery in Season 4, episode one of The Proof Is Out There.
On each one-hour episode of The Proof Is Out There on the History Channel, Emmy award-winning journalist, Tony Harris, takes viewers on an in-depth journey of unexplained phenomena.
He reveals a new batch of sightings on perplexing mysteries such as UFOs, an extinct species, or leaks from the government.
A team of experts is then brought in to comment on the phenomena and help analyze the findings.
Harris has called the men’s video proof of the creature stunning, in a video promoting the episode.
He said: “It’s been said that Bigfoot exhibits nocturnal behavior, perhaps to hunt or to avoid detection – but the cloak of darkness couldn’t hide the creature in the stunning footage you’re about to see, captured by two campers with a night vision camera.”
Retired Army ranger, the late Stacy Brown Sr., and his son, Stacy Brown Jr., say they encountered bigfoot in May 2012.
They were camping in Torreya State Park in Bristol, Florida, which is about 47 miles from Tallahassee, at the time.
After hearing noises, the men pulled out a thermal camera and started recording.

“We’d hear something running on our right and then something running on our left. And then it just stopped real quick” Stacy Jr. recalled.
“And then dad looked up at the, you know up there at the tree and he’s liking ‘Oh I see something.'”
He then noticed a black object peeking out behind the side of a tree in the woods.
The men then started running to explore what they witnessed.
“I knew exactly what we had on camera. It was proof to me and my dad because who on a Tuesday night is a mile and a half into the wood running around with no flashlight,” Stacy Jr. said.
On the show, bigfoot investigator, Steve Kulls, says he’s not surprised by the footage.
Experts have shared that the creature in the video appeared to be six to seven feet tall, and it doesn’t appear to be a primate or a human wearing clothing.
“The way it comes out of the trees is what we call a groucho walk. It’s very typical of what witnesses say bigfoot walks like,” anthropologist Kathy Strain said on the show.
“This strangely bent knee gait it seems to be out of human proportions in the sense that you can’t see a neck. It has very beefy-looking arms. It has interesting legs that seem shorter than what you would see in humans.”
The experts have dubbed it an unknown creature on the show and said it warrants additional investigation.
